I do work with large groups (not usually more than 50) and I need to get the pitch right so questions are helpful.

Students often do ask questions outside of the session which can be useful to include later on.
As the students that I teach to attend courses with a great variation of nursing skills and experience, these question and answer sessions often open up the opportunity for debate and discussion.
Many of my sessions are about specific disease processes.
I use the same teaching media (powerpoint, ohp, laser pointers etc)

I want to get participants to contribute to the debate rather than me deliver information, so questions are essential rather than additional. I work with more mature learners and so the relationship is a different one.
