Comparing practice with your own context.

Finding similarities and differences…

In task two participants revisit the three most popularly themed videos and identify similarities with, and differences from, their own teaching context.

Firstly, we ask participants to think about what makes up a "teaching context". This might include, for example, the physical environment that they are working in, the students that they are working with, and the subject material that the students are learning about.

Some of this context is talked about by the teacher, whilst other aspects are only evident in the video footage, for example, the teacher's own style.
